In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a reworking of the calendar in 2020 that led to the introduction of a new event. This event has taken place multiple times, with each instance being held at a unique location.

In February 2022, Crown Colony Golf and Country Club witnessed an unprecedented triumph when Leona Maguire became the first-ever Irish winner in the long and storied history of the LPGA Tour. She etched her name in the record books as the defending champion and created history with a remarkable 3-stroke lead.
